Pentax AF-540 v Samsung SEF-54

They seem to be. I have the Samsung one (which I bought from Amazon at that price, after a much longer wait than that), and apart from the badge, it does seem to be the same.
The manual isn't the same - the AF-540 FGZ manual is a lot more extensive, but it expands on, rather than conflicts with, the one you get with the SEF.

how do these compare with the Sigma EF 530 DG ST which is about £110?

Are the Pentax AF-540 and Samsung SEF-54 the same beast?
At the moment Amazon are seeling the Pentax for £241 and the Samsung for £181..!! (2-5 weeks waiting)
