Pentax Advertising - the 1970s
Many thanks, Kris.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I always found that PT made thoughtful and informed reviews. Not all magazines did.
I see a genuine link for Pentax to do an Olympus and release a retro camera. Their bodies looked awesome before the move to the bulky digital moulded grip.
Have to agree with that Fuji produce some lovely retro cameras today.

December 1977 and some real information in a double page spread. For once, the case is being laid out for the benefits of the MX.
The MX wasn't just for carrying around and shooting, for more scientific or industrial use it could take a bulk film back and a high speed motor drive, hence the rubberised silk shutter. I've still got my MX.
The motordrive* and the bulk film backs are quite rare and go for a fortune now!

The KP is kind of retro.

....and a fantastic camera it is too. I swapped my K3ii for a KP, image-wise it beats the K3ii hands down
