LCE are a company I have dealt with and have always been really good. One of the best sources for second hand. When you phone them they are very honest about describing the condition of items.

LCE are great, bought many second hand bargains from them (usually at less than ebay prices) and played with the new kit (unfortunately they're not that competitive on price on the new stuff). We used to have a member from LCE on the forum.

Bought my K200/18-250mm from them and was very happy.

Tried to buy my k5 there but they were out of stock.

My Chesterfield LCE is NOT a Pentax Pro shop. They have heard of Pentax though

Dave at Colchester LCE is on here...I was offered free postage and a 15% discount on used equipment for being a forum member (I was looking at a macro lens but blew my budget on a used K20 on here!!)

I was also in LCE Worcester the other day, and it was inpressive to see almost the whole Pentax Lens line-up (including Fa's). The manager in there is a Pentax user himself and is passionate and knowledgable about Pentax.

I understand the comments on pricing, but I can see the shops stance - they have to put significant investment into stocking these lenses, allow us to "play" with them, answer many questions and give advice, and then we expect them to compete with internet prices. I'm sure there would be some flexibility on price if a customer was serious, but if they cut them to the bone from the start they would struggle to survive.
