Peak Imaging - no more.

All film users... from a thread on TalkPhotography.

Seems that Peak Imaging, the company I'd used to have my films developed for 15 or so years, has ceased trading....

That leaves me with the task of finding a new company for my films and I was planning on taking one of the film cameras to Goodwood at the weekend....

Any recommendations?

Link should give you Nik and Trick in Folkestone. They are film specialists. Not a fast turnaround 'cos there's just the two of them but they know what they are about.

Good to see some companies/outfits alive and kicking... it's just when you are so comfortable using one company that's never let me down then having to find alternatives..

I remember using Colab in the 90s, big advertisers in AP but bizarre pricing structures which meant you ended up paying less than you planned. Nice little shop in Peterborough as well. then I found Transpacolor which were very good, however, glamour shot photos (especially when they were 'explicit') took longer in the lab and always delivered out of order - wonder why?.

Any way at least I have some options if I take my Z-1p or P50 to Goodwood this weekend. Thanks everyone

Express Imaging on City Road in Cardiff. They do a postal service or while you wait on standard C41 and also develop black and white on site as well as E6.

Prints from digital files also as well as high quality tiffs when developing film.
