Sorry Tim I'd sooner drop the matter. It was you that started to quote dates.
Just tried IE it doesn't crash it only locks up Firefox 3.6.12 .... possibly MS issued a fix, but it does try to add something to my system startup which I've blocked. I never use IE anyway.
I'll send a report to Mozilla and leave it to them to take it up with Apple if they want to. Firefox 4 is due out so it would be worth them doing something about it, although the problem seems to be at Apples end they used to barr you completely if you hadn't got iTunes.

Just thinking I wasn't downloading iTunes just logged onto the website, I hadn't clicked to agree to anything.... what's it doing looking at and adding stuff to my start menu? It didn't in Firefox.... maybe whatever it was can't run in Firefox?

No you can use the 320M/9400M if you want, they are using the 330M now with the macbook pro's or are you saying that they don't work?
But the 420m are also out for a while now

Like I said the whole 560UM core so that's the processor, the IGP and everything on it only drains 1 watt more than a C2D.TDP for the three chips will be a bit more than C2D+9400/320M too, but probably only about 4W (3.5W for PCH, 1W more for the CPU, think the GPUs are roughly the same). Not counting the RAM, no idea how much that would be.
Also the i5 use DDR 3 and they use less power so in total (the whole laptop) they might even use the same power.

I've said it on this forum before, I support Macs for a living, so if you are going to point out Apple's flaws - and there are plenty of them - you'd better get your facts straight. If you are going to make the quite frankly ludicrous suggestion that iTunes is some sort of virus then you'd better have some solid evidence to back it up. Quoting some forum or blog from three/four years ago does not even remotely qualify, sorry
Edit: Hopefully this doesn't come across too harsh, it's just that I suffer from an unfortunate affliction where I feel compelled to correct misconceptions, unwitting ignorance, and sometimes outright lies, about Apple products

Gigabyte motherboards are quite compatible with OSX and also Foxconn is a good bet because they actually make the motherboards for Apple it seems.

Don't know if Mac support harddrive over pci-e though...

The last one was quite funny, but living in the UK things
