Good luck with the new camera, run a film through it and check the meter settings.
I like the MES and mine sees use on a regular basis, along with my MX.
We take both film and digital when we go out nowadays, it seems more enjoyable that way.

I must admit the K10D with the battery grip and the 12-24mm lens is a rather conspicuous bit of kit. Mind you, the LX with the winder and the FB-1/FC-1 viewfinder looks pretty conspicuous too, and everybody looks round to see what the whizzing noise is... and I was bidding on an 6x7 the other day. I must try out the MX with the 43mm...

The ME super seems to me and excellent camera, much easier and enjoyable to use than DSLR's. I am going to post some MES results on this site soon to boost the contribution from Pentax film camera users. On a lighter note, it looks like the 'cats have it' - look out black dog!

ME: Why the hell they can't make a simple digital body the size of an ME Super beats the hell out of me. All the digi bodies are so BIG!
HIM: So what is it you actually want?
ME: I want a camera as tiny and nice to use as the ME Super, but will still take all my old manual lenses.
HIM: What, you mean an ME Super?
ME: Eh? Yes, an ME Super. Small, compact, nice to use, well built.
