Parial solar eclipse

Dawn tomorrow (4th January) sees a partial solar eclipse in Britain, the Netherlands and points north - the further north the fuller the eclipse.
Do wear eclipse glasses if you are going to view it.

There's also another meteor shower visible if you want to wrap up warm and get out in the dark. Not that there is much dark here in the Netherlands .

Now let's hope for clear skies.

Edit title should of course read partial - can't seem to edit that though

It will already have begun at dawn. Should make for interesting sunrise pics - and relatively safe to photograph or briefly glimpse. Cool, thanks for the heads up Gwyn!

Be on the look out for little points of light made by the sunlight passing through (for example) vegetation. I noticed during the last eclipse how these became crescent shaped!
