Panoramic printing

I'm not 100% sure as regards your printer, but we do have Epson 890 and 1290 printers that include reels for using rolls of paper. In this way, you can print any length you like and obtain panoramic prints.
Having said that, we've never actually used them. If I want a panoramic format I usually print to A3 on the 1290, but make the print the appropriate size. Anything up to 42cm long, and whatever height is appropriate. To be honest, I don't need prints wider than this as the limitation is what can be mounted on a 16" x 20" mounting board for exhibition and competition purposes.
Hope that helps a little at least.

i own a HP Deskjet 960c printer, photoshop 5.5, and Windows 98SE, can anybody please tell me how or whether i can print panoramic prints,(8"x 22") or there abouts on this new Epson Panoramic paper, i have been told "yes" it can be done but it all seems rather tedious. can it be done or not i have tried all differant ways but all stop at A4 size, its a shame really because the Panoramics i do all seem to fit A4 but i want bigger, any hints or tips, or how to do it gratfully recieved.
