Panaramic first attempt

My first attempt at a panarama. Taken from the reserve at the back of my house. I got a bit carried away as it was 8 shots stitched together using the DA18-55 kit lens. I used a program called Panarama Maker 4 which came bundled with an XD picture card i brought for my Fuji P&S.
What do you think :
Excuse the width

I'd like to see a higher-res version, but it seems to have done a good job stitching the images together as I can't see any obvious joins.

Thanks Tim I wasn't too fussed with the subject matter in the pic i just wanted to see how well it stitched together and i must say i was impressed, for a fully functional freebie program it worked fantastic. I cant wait to get out and get some descent shots

Hi Clarky,

The stitching is very good. Used tripod, and changed the camera shot angle by the head vertical axis? (I suppose you did so).

Things complicate a little when sun is out. Also shadows games against the photographer.

I did some experiences with 360º panoramas in a sunny day. Really is not an easy challenge!

Good luck and success with your experience.

Best regards.

Thanks Dirk I suppose i should have shared that bit of info
I actually hand held the camera in the portait orientation and snapped off the 8 frames turning my body in a 180degree arc to get them all in.
I wasnt too confident how it would turn out and wasn't sure if i should leave the camera in AF or not (which i did) but i was surprised with the outcome.
I had almost no input when it came to the stitching i just selected the frames i wanted in the order i wanted and the program did the rest. very easy indeed. (my kind of program)
