That's rather clever although it's a pity you can see the white pot for the bubble mixture. The person I don't mind but the white pot is distracting.

I think with a more careful background you could have a very neat photograph.

Think the bubble is the interest, in this image the child is just a distraction.

On a presonal note.... I to think the child is important! without it there is no story....

The child is blowin' a bubble, the pot and child are both relevant to the shot, surely.
This is a good shot Darlene, I would jus' like to see some more contrast in the tones, on the child.

Not wishing to start a war or anything but I am interested in the various opinions. Surely if the child is important it should get equal treatment within the image? by popping the bubble (no pun intended) it atracts all the attention, anything else within the frame then becomes subordinate to it.

But the human surely should be shown as being less important than the representation of the earth and that's why I would prefer there to be no relationship between the existence of the bubble/earth and the person as indicated by the bottle. Then again that could well be pretentious twaddle!

Oh dear Mike...do not get too distracted by the child.

After all she is the creator of this little world bubble. And maybe like our creator...she just wants to be in the background of the creations but not eliminated

Nice picture Dar....I would mark that one a special favorite...might be a nice on for the wall

Agreed.
Unfortunately, the background is a bit messy at top left, but it's not too bad.

I like the shot very much.
