The battery will last for perhaps 600 shots. That's the equivalent of nearly 17 rolls of film. Why on earth do you need a battery grip? Trying to build bigger biceps?When you can get the battery grip to go with it to extend the battery life.

I agree with George. Although many people are praising the battery grip, I have no problems handling my K200D, be it in portrait or landscape orientation.

I'd take two.
Inflatable biceps would do at a pinch
