Optio M60 Question

Hi Ken,
We have has this query on several occasions - it is the focusing mechanism adjusting focus and will be more obvious when the camera is moving as it is refocusing. From memory there are a couple of different AF focusing modes - changing mode will stop the noise.

Outstanding Chris - once it's normal, then she can work her way through it - I thought it may have been something to do with shake reduction.

My Optio E50 'Ticks' in the full auto mode, but not others. A good friend has an Opio L60, same there.
It's not only Optios that do this, my Panasonic does it too.

my daughter has just bought an Optio M60. Once it is powered up, there is a ticking noise coming fromn the camera, mainly when it is moved!
Any ideas on why this is?
