Optio 750Z

Hi everyone. My Optio 750Z has hardly been used and now there is no power at all when I press the power on button. Unfortunately, it is one month past warranty!!!! Does anyone have any recommendations/suggestions? As you will know, it cost a pretty penny, so any help here would be gratefully received. Thanks

You could double-check that the battery contacts are clean and making proper contact. Is the charger lighting up properly when charging?

Otherwise, it's back for a repair, and seeing it's so close to the warranty period i would be inclined to see if Pentax would stretch a point for you and do a warranty repair. After all, there's nothing to lose by asking.

Thanks once more for your help. John. The charger is charging properly and I have looked at the battery contacts. I will try to appeal to pentax uk's better nature on Monday morning then.

If you are within range of Slough, I would advise you to go in and see them. They're quite friendly, and may stretch a point if they see you in person.
