Optio 43WR comments?

I am looking to buy a Optio 43WR as I am in the market for a camera that uses AAs and is weather resistant so I can use it hiking and trekking. Has anyone on this list got one yet? Failing that, what's the opinion of the 33WR it supercedes? How does it focus in low light? How quickly does the flash recycle? How sharp are the pictures? And how prone is the lens to flare with that clear plastic lens cover?
