Opening RAw images

I have a *istDL2 and I have taken most of my photos as jpegs, but I took 4 as RAW. I can transfer them to my PC and it opens the jpegs, but I cannot open the RAW images. I have windows xp. How do i open the RAW images?

you need to use a program specifically designed for RAW data files. Have a look at this thread..

which will give you an idea of what programs there are. Most. if not all will give you a free trial period, so you can have a play. Have a go, and be sure to ask here if you have any questions.. which you will have.. I think Matt (he posts in the thread I've linked to) is the main expert here with RAW files, and he will help you every step of the way.

Every new gadget should come packaged with a child to explain how it works!

did I ever mention we have 8 kids?
2 flown the coup.
4 come and go, as per custody order and two home full time.

need a child proof container open? Call the kids.
lol

P.S......I'm still the biggest kid.
