Just amazed how many points of view emanated from one kerazy steering wheel attendant.

Shows the value of a camera at your side.

Cedric (also a cyclist) got sent flying by a dopey car driver 18 months ago. He forgot his trailer was wider than the car.

Now about that lorry and the bridge - how do they get something like that out without wrecking the bridge?
Let the tyres down.

(Guess how I know. )
I've heard of that with heavy haulage contractors and unexpectedly low bridges.

There are a few other lorry-related tricks that I learned from a book about early ferries. If you want to fit a truck into the side alley of a small ship then you pour soapy water on the deck, grease up a lump of tree trunk, wedge it in place, and then watch as the trailer wheels slide sideways on the deck with the trunk pushing them into the space.

No pressure then!!!!

Due to appalling weather here at the moment, it may take a wee while. But I'll post something soon.
