Stunning shot Alan - I am constantly impressed by what the Q can deliver. I have not tried mine on a tripod yet - must do so.

This is absolutely superb.
When the Q was first released I was very dubious about what it could deliver due to the small image sensor. I have been quite surprised and impressed with what I have seen so far on the forum.
It really does seem to me that despite initial worries (by most people lets be honest) that the Q punches way higher than what its spec sheet would imply.

Really like it but just wondering why you shot it at f5 it may have been even sharper at f8 since you had it on a tripod? Im assuming that 125ISO is base for the Q.
Great compo though just missing a bit of critical sharpness for me (but i am being really picky here)

I think I read somewhere that f4 is the optimum aperture for sharpness on the Q zoom

I often carry the Q in the car, and my tripod pretty much lives in the boot. So, last night as I was driving home I stopped off and grabbed this.
