Ancient monument

Processed using the TopazAdjust4 plugin in CS5 to show off the incredible stonework in this ancient monument, still in use today and just down the road from us. Built in the 14th century.

nice use of Topaz i think i prefer the first one it looks to me as the fine detail stands out more,deeper shadows on them? may be my monitor or eyesight

clone some tree over the modern roof on the left perhaps

Is it the chapel on the bridge over the River Calder? (I lived in Leeds long ago during my schooldays at Roundhay Grammar School.) If so, I've seen it many times through the windows of a bus or car, but never been there. You have certainly brought out the stonework well.

Yes it is the bridge over the calder, it is a stunning building that needs its stonework cleaning.

Hi Snappy, Lovely shot. I would very much like to see how it looks from a side angle with not only the front side. I am sure it would give a 3D effect. Try one if you get an opportunity.
