One for the Fans

Taken yesterday (02/11/09) in Aldgate, London.

Anyone who knows of and has listened to Nirvana will get the connection in this photo. It pertains to one of their tracks off their second album, and i've used the name of their song for the title of this photograph.

It amazed me to find this scene, I had to record it. Also, it constantly amazes me, how coincidences like this occur on the street.

Fantastic picture! I love it. Do you think whoever left the deposit on the pavement was thinking along similar lines...? (Doubt it). I grew up in Reading and went to the Festival the year Nirvana headlined (and also when they played there lower down the bill the year before) - awesome!!

They were the mutts nuts weren't they, eh Mat. No band now even comes close to what they did back then. I was into the whole scene and I wished that it could've gone on forever.

Pearl Jam were my second fave band of that time, and Eddie Vedder and Jeff Ament from the band, are good photographers too.
