I'd not heard of Elliott Erwitt, Pauly, so thanks for the info. I must look for the book you mention. Love the picture, BTW.

That is a great juxtaposition, Lilly. Glad to hear he's one of your fave photographers too. I'll check that book out you mentioned also.

Love no1 "dog gone phone" !!
It is funny actually - you start to see dog pics appear before you as you go out and they dont look that good when you snap 'em, but when you download, they look so much stronger and really quirky ..just love em and I dont have a dog! I am a cat person

Elliott Erwitt is a photographer I admire a great deal for his shots of street dogs from all around the world. He's work is fantastic.
Ever since I bought his book DOGDOGS back in the day, he has been an inspiration.
