I hoope she likes grumpy old farts.

When I called Don, I found out the Inn he was at was less than 5 minutes from our business, so it was real easy to hook up with him.

Don, I'm glad you had a good time. Next time you come around, try to give me some advance warning, so I can show you the best parts of Montréal, as was suggested by a "depraved" member of this forum. And I still owe you a plane tour.

Not the first time I've been called that!

And what's the name of the "famous" deli/sandwich bar that does marvellous salt beef.

Looked a bit run down and still in the 60's when I was there!

You're talking about Schwartz. The best "smoke meat" sandwiches you can find. If ever you come back to Montréal, just let me know, and I'll give you some interesting places to visit. As far as "depraved" goes, I guess I can be as bad as you.

Schwartz does not sound familiar - but it may have been. Most of my trips are: Arrive, hotel, eat, meeting, eat hotel, meeting, eat depart!

I used to stay at the Ritz-Carlton but last time it was the new Embassy Suites.

Schwartz is on St-Laurent Blvd. It's small, narrow and crowded. When you walk in, on your left, there is a row of small tables, and on your right, the counter with a take out area and, past the take out area, stools for people eating at the counter. They have the best "smoke meat" sandwich and pickles you can find.

Hello, Don.

Did you stop anywhere to sleep or did you drive the whole 2400 km. non stop? Or, did you hijack a plane? That was an awful fast drive.
