Olly Murs Sheffield Arena

Photographed some gu called Olly Murs last night at Sheffield Arena, I believe he won one of the so called talent shows???

GX20 with Tokina 100-300mm f/4

Superb colours in the 2nd one..... his suits a different
colour in the 3rd (or it could be my PC ).

Good selection. The expressions in 2 and 3 are well captured, for me it's a shame 3 isn't quite a sharp as you'd like it to be, but obviously shooting conditions are extremely challenging in these situations. Is it worth a bit of sharpening perhaps? Really good shots there though.

I guess I'll be the sad bas*ard and correct you - he actually did'nt win the X factor in 2009, he came runner up. There, I've said it.

Algi this show had the dreaded LED lighting which is why his suit changed colour.

3 is a little soft, but its such a good pose

I like number 1 just because for once the stage had a really long walkway into the crowd which we could stand at the end of and get a really good wide shot.

I won't argue.

Don't tell me - the wife makes you watch it! Yeah, yeah...

Really good dynamic shots here. I like no. 2 - great sense of movement and typically simian expression from Mr. Murs...
