I've got a supertele lens (SMC Takumar) with p-mount (screw).
I konw there exists a K-mount adaptor to use it with an modern Pentax camera, but can it be used good with other brands as well?

Using the K mount adapter, all 42mm screw thread lenses can be used on Pentax K mount cameras, right up to the current KAF2 autofocus mount. Full marks to Pentax for preserving a remarkable degree of compatibility.

To answer the poster's question, I believe adaptors exist for fitting 42mm lenses to most makes of camera. However, as with Pentax, you are likely to lose functionality.

Hi Al,
Try SRB here http://www.srbfilm.co.uk/publish/page7.html
They do adapters for most cameras and also make "specials" albeit at a price.

Kim
