AKA Traveller's Joy or Clematis vitalba. The seeds were back-lit by the setting sun hence the colour. Pentax Q-S1 and the 06 telephoto zoom.

Very pretty. I'd guess that you'd get quite a good abstract out of all that writhing stuff in there?
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Missed this when first posted. But worth the wait. Lovely colour and texture. Makes me want to touch those seed heads - pity we don't have touchy-feely screens (yet....).

A good advert for the capabilities of the Q-S1 + 06, too.
