They look like part of an effect to create an aged phoro print. I rather like it as there's no evidence of anything modern in the picture. It could almost have been taken in 1897. perhaps it was?

Mark, it is that 21mm lens you speak of, it's firmly bolted to my camera. Has been ever since l bought it, over a year ago. lt is a fantastic number and is so sharp. Great for documentary and shooting on the street, as usually so for what the 32mm gives you. Cheers.

Welcome back Pauly! Nicely composed shot, with interesting antique effect. I wouldn't worry about people who pretend they don't know what it is and ask smartass questions. The forum has missed you and your gritty London photographs. Sorry to hear about your lack of photo mojo, I think it's an effect of the lousy winter we had, I and a few others I know have had similar problems.

Even the greatest artists/authors/composers get inspiration block from time to time. It usually passes. Stick with it Paul, we all enjoy your photos.

Thanks Dave, l plan on shooting more statues, as of tomorrow. There is a great WWl or ll statue near London Bridge tube that I have been trying to get an interesting angle on since last year. So that one has started to figure (no pun), in my mind lately.

I'm probably not alone in wondering where you'd got to...thoought you'd got bored of us all
There's no point in wanting to be as good as anyone else, even Lee Friedlander: being good as yourself is what matters. I know I am not alone here in thinking you've a great eye; just get it glued to the viewfinder again.

I haven't been out with my camera for a long while now due to losing inspiration and the point of it all...
So now i'm hoping to get it back.
I took this yesterday as I was rambling past a barbed wire, fenced private lake. I climbed the fence and took this.
