Stevan's posts are getting increasingly extreme in the lengths they go to flout the forum rules. But I actually enjoyed these images, despite them obviously not belonging to Stevan or having been taken with a Pentax.
I'm not sure if we're seeing a lighter touch after the recent discussions about moderation style, but actually, there's nothing in the Ts&Cs that says you can't post non-Pentax pictures.

I mean, paragraph 2 gives the mods the right to remove anything for any reason, but the 'no non-Pentax pics' rule has been unwritten for a long time, other than in discussions and statements by mods occasionally.

And a very large proportion of us are in breach of paragraph 20

They really do need to be rewritten...

Personally, although these pictures are quite interesting, I do find their attribution quite troubling. I think passing-off (no matter how ludicrously unconvincing) shouldn't be welcome here.

Previous pictures were allowed to stand long before the recent moderation debate. I see no reason at all to permit these or any previous pictures. It was pointed out that they were taken with an Olympus and the OP has not made any comments. Not sure why the mods have let this go.

I have to agree with Dr Orloff and Chris A, these "snapshots" have no place on a Pentax Forum and should be treated as spam and removed by the Mods.

The mods have been contacted already about them. I did so yesterday.

Regardless of whether or not these are Pentax, the poster doesn't engage in conversation and most of his own pictures are poor to say the least.

I'm not quite sure what he thinks a forum is!

(Is this PentaxExpert's other alter ego?)

It's hard to tell.

He did express an actual opinion, relevant to the thread, in one post I noticed.

If he is then he is persistent. Spammers usually hit the forum once and run, so no I don't think he is. He's just not very chatty - though a lot more so than Stevan

The OP has been repeatedly asked not to post pictures that weren't taken with Pentax cameras and in this case pictures for which he doesn't own the copyright.

Do bear in mind that he is approximately 120 years old since he has signed the picture taken in 1910. He can post pictures but he hasn't figured out how to read PMs.
