OLd Cokin filters
Your lenses will work (provided they worked on your KM and ME). if they are fully manual you'll have to change the setting for 'allow aperture ring' in the camera's custom menu. Be careful with the Ricoh lens, some Ricohs had an extra spring-loaded pin which can jam on your K-x.
Welcome aboard, by the way

The ones that are still useful for digital work are ND, ND graduated and polarisers.
The ones that are not so useful are those used to add or correct colour (can all be done in-camera now using white balance settings) or special effects like starbursts etc (much easier to apply post-capture in Photoshop or the like).
Camera shops like to sell you new toys and while it's true that modern filters may have special "designed for digital" coatings etc it doesn't mean that all your old ones will suddenly stop working...
As for the lenses, if you were using them with the KM and ME then there's no reason they won't work on the K-x. The only one you need to be careful with is the Ricoh as some of them had an extra pin that can get stuck on modern cameras, if you can post a picture of the back of the lens someone can let you know if it's safe to mount or not.

Best thing though, is have a play with the filters, digital images cost nothing, you may find some fun and interesting effects.
Just to give you an example, how about this (now I know it is a fuji, but hey I like its old character...)
