It's the new Sigma Bazooka!

Have you seen the size of his biceps?
Lots of gear - but not a lot of idea!

It'll certainly test the shake-reduction!

Some people call me 'strange'.
I prefer 'unconventional'.
But I'm willing to compromise and accept 'eccentric'.

I've seen one in a store. It's utterly ridiculous, and ugly, and technically incredible.

A tripod wouldn't be much good with that, you'd need scaffolding.

You'd look a right tool at the local park too.

Beware of snipers wielding one of those. You may get mistaken for a terrorist!
Far as I know it's only 500mm at maximum zoom.

I've seen one too, they've been around a long time now. Luckily it doesn't come in a Pentax fit, but I always wondered what it look like with a little Pentax on the end of it.
Would challenge the SR certainly .

Correct, but it is a 2.8, and only $26000. Bargain!

Mount it on a telescope tripod with a star tracking system it could make a decent lens for astro-photography
