North Shields at dawn

It seems ages since I got round to polishing and posting anything, so hope someone likes these. Quite a few to follow on different topics eventually. A long weekend away recently ended with a stay in North Shields and a gorgeous early morning at the fish quay. All taken with K-3 and Pentax 18-135mm.
All comments/suggestions for improvement welcomed. Thanks for looking,
John

Fantastic, moody set with beautiful PP. Can't pick a favourite cos they are all exquisite.

Fantastic set John. Only one complaint. The title should have been North AND South Shields at dawn as quite a few of the shots are across the river of South Shields. My home town from the age of 7 to 23. The lights across the river in No. 1 are a hotel which is where we stay if we go up there. The house where I was brought up is on the top of the hill looking out straight over the harbour and the piers.
CHEERS Vic.
Born again biker with lots of Pentax bits. Every day I wake up is a good day. I'm so old I don't even buy green bananas.

Thank you all for the lovely comments - glad you liked them as much as I do! I thought Barrie might be interested.
Vic, apologies for neglecting the south bank! it's a lovely part of the world with so much to catch the eye.

Well photographed. They make the place look surreal.

Great images. No 2 slightly shades the rest for me.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks all for the further comments - it's not very often someone just about equidistant from both east and west coasts gets the chance to shoot scenes like these, so it's nice when everything falls into place.

You have caught this place at its best. Like all the images and just can't pick a favourite.
