Hard to believe that they only gave a 6 month Warranty on
New Beetles in 1965........ still going strong 45 years later
Most other cars sold in the UK had a 12 month Warranty.

I remember when North Shields had "A LOT" of fishing boats, both trawlers and drifters. I used to see them from the other side "South Shields". Next time put the telephoto lens on and get the good side of the river. Just joking. Number 3 for me. CHEERS Vic.

I too remember North Shields Fish Quay when it was busy with big trawlers as well as these much smaller vessels. The light is lovely. No. 3 would have been better with some foregound interest such as a boat coming down the Tyne.

Geordie. I think David might be right about a ship/boat in the foreground but I think you might have to wait quite a while to see one these days. on the odd occasion I go up to Shields I notice there is hardly anything on the river nowadays. 60years ago the river had as many ships on it as the M25 has cars (well almost). It was a very busy river. Now all the ship yards and docks seem to be fancy houses/flats and marinas. They say patience is the photographers friend so go back and wait for a ship/boat. CHEERS Vic.
