The (slight) thaw each day followed by numbingly cold nights have resulted in some great icicles. This was the best I could find. K10D with Sigma mf 70-210.

I like the first one, with the clear background, very dramatic. But, Andrew, where is the rust?!

Thanks Paul, I went to Lincoln once and I'll never forget it. Mrs C. and I have vague plans to head east in the summer. Must see that cathedral again before I shuffle off this mortal coil...

The ideal spot is the top of the little turret in the old jail!....a bit hairy if you dont like heights!.....happy Christmas...
