Sensor stabilisation in action. In live view it is always on, otherwise it only moves the sensor between mirror-up and shutter close times. The sound will be much more noticeable with telephoto lenses in shaky hands
Enjoy your 50-200mm - it is a nice lens even though many review-reading pundits (who haven't actually used it) don't like it.

I would describe the noise as more 'rattley' than 'clunking' when in LV on my K5 but yes, seems to be normal... Someone here probably knows why...

This isn't the case. The sensor is stabilised before the mirror up and shutter operation. You can see confirmation of this in the viewfinder display when the hand icon is lit. There wouldn't be time to stabilise the sensor between mirror up and shutter open/close.Sensor stabilisation in action. Further the electromagnets that hold the sensor in position are always in operation even if the SR is disabled
The rattly noise that DavidHolmes is describing ( and which seems you are also experiencing ) isn't the shake reduction at all it's the solenoid holding the mirror up and or shutter open.

Anyway for those who are interested in some discussion ....
1] In non-LV mode set a shutter time of something like 2 seconds, and you'll hear the rattling noise while the mirror and shutter are up. This happens even when SR is disabled ( sensor is not being moved )
2] In sensor cleaning [ mirror up ] mode, where both the mirror and shutter are opened to clean the sensor, the same rattling noise can be heard. I would assume there's no need to move teh sensor to account for handshake while the sensor is being cleaned
Given the rattling noise occurs regardless whether the SR is enabled or disabled, and ALWAYS occurs when the mirror is up and the shutter is open, then I don't think it's unreasonable to deduce that the noise is the mechanism responsble for lifting the mirror and or operating the shutter.

Bought a k-30 in the New Year and yesterday received a 50-200mm lens I bought unboxed in a sale (from SRS). When I tried out the lens and switched to Live View, there is a what I can only describe as a clunking noise from within when I move the camera about. As soon as I switch off Live View it stops.The lens seems to be working OK - I have taken a couple of test shots with it. Is this a normal function of the camera? I also seem to get it slightly with the 18-135mm lens, but nothing like as much.
