Very soon, I promise! We have been working on this for a few months and it's almost ready to go.... We will also be renting camera bodies as well.

That is fantastic Chris! Very interested in this as you stand to be (I think) the only place in the UK which allows people to rent Pentax lenses.

I can see the Bigmas being very popular as rental items, especially during airshow season!

We are planning on renting Sigma lenses as well, John. Postal and in-store collection will be possible if all goes to plan.

Wonderful thanks, I can rent before considering a purchase. There's nothing quite like trying it out yourself. The other thing that came to mind was the DA 10-17 Fisheye, I have a Sigma PKA 16mm f/2.8 for film use, but I wouldn't consider buying another Fiseye as they get very little use. However when you really need one, from time to time, there's no real substitute.

This could be of great interest to me depending on prices etc. I dont have the finances to buy lenses but would welcome the chance to try some out for a week or so depending on cost etc.

This is great news. Lenses-for-Hire have said they have no intention in the future due to low demand. All things are relative but as a sole player in the UK market I was seriously thinking of setting up my own cottage industry. At standard market rates the payback time is pretty good and I think SRS will be overwhelmed with demand. Hopefully it will include a telephoto prime (e.g 300mm DA ED SDM). In fact I think anything is possible right back to the older favourites if they can get them as well as Sigma.
I will be a definite customer if prices and terms are similar or better than equiv Canon, Nikon.
