It would be quite neat to have a single box that takes an undeveloped film in and produces negatives and an SD card of scanned images. Unfortunately I have to use two boxes for this - my Rondinax daylight developing tank and my Ion negative scanner!

I suspect the likes of Bonusprint have a box which does just that, doubt it's cheap though.

I knew of a chap who had a film camera that had a faulty film winder, so the film didn't advance far enough for the next photo. The result was that the next pic then overlapped the previous one and so on. He thought that the developers were at fault as their squeegee must be 'pulling' the images down the length of film as the dried it! Incredible.

The world is full of good idea's and perceptions. Same chap probably went on to develop the dissolve feature on slide projectors......

Whilst checking to see if there were any second-hand film scanners available locally, I came across this discussion between a buyer and seller of one of cheap USB scanners. At least he asked but the sellers answer worries me. I had a giggle as I've asked similarly stupid questions when taking up a new interest, I blush when I think about them now.

Hi - This scanner basically takes care of the development process. You simply slide the negatives into the scanner and the image is converted to a colour picture. You can then save the picture to Memory card. regards
