Buy a bigger bag Mike - my K20D EX100-300 combo fits in just nicely and there's room for my Tokina 400AF. Mind you after two weeks my back needs restraightening
I have a case that slips on the side that will take the 100-300mm if needbe.

Not putting a pic, but I do have the Sigma 170-500mm and it is a long as the bigma. Now until someone come up with their own 1200mm A* F8 we are stuck at 500mm...........

The 85-210mm, fitted with its lens hood and attached to the MX:

The MX looks as though it's hanging onto the back of a drainpipe - balance isn't bad though!

Dangermouse, I wouldn't want to hang that lens on the end of a body with a plastic mount. It'll surely rip the mount from the camera.

I was once the proud owner of a SMCP 135-600mm zoom but I traded it for a SMCP 500mm prime. The 135-600mm, being a zoom, has the tripod mount too far to the rear of the lens making balance terrible.

The balance of the 500mm is superb.

Yep - I have no intention of using it on anything other than the MX or K-m, both of which have metal mounts. To the best of my knowledge only the MZ series had plastic lens mounts?

There doesn't seem to be any provision for one, the photo on the K mount site doesn't show one either. It's a bit nose-heavy on the tripod but balances fine handheld.
