I am not up to getting out with the camera so am contenting myself with some reworks. This is from 3 years ago, and I think the pano format suits it perfectly.

Those two figures might be tiny but they anchor the whole image. The pano format is, as you say, very suitable here. (I hope whatever ails you goes away too).
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Agree about the pano format and the two figures. We have enjoyed several walks in the area (although not recently); a great place for some great photos!

I agree, the panoramic format works well here. The leading lines help to draw the eye "through" the image. On first look I didn't notice the people which may suggest that the image would work as well without them.

When creating panoramas I tend to spoil mine by going too wide: the width you have chosen feels just right to me.
