Very nice set Alan. Particularly like the odd numbers - 1, 3, 5.

I have been wanting to have a crack at these for some time but not being particularly familiar with the river front area -or which areas to avoid with the gear after dark - never seem to get around to it.

Carl

What about a meet then?
From the Byker Wall to the Redheugh Bridge there is a wealth of photographic opportunities, both day or night. My camera club has had a couple of assignment days at Ouseburn and davidtrout is an aficionado of the area.

If the date permits, I would love to come on this meet. Are you thinking sometime in the Autumn Barrie?

Hi Barrie

Totally up for it - for me a Saturday would be best - allowing for a daytime and or evening session.

Date wise - so long as we avoid the 27th September (NYMR Steam Gala) and 11 October (NYMR Wartime event)most other weekend dates doable for me.

Its a yes from me but avoiding the weekend of October 11 and 12 (wedding anniversary) and the week October 19-25 (I'll be in the Scottish wild north west). Day time is best for me; as night falls and the tripods come out I generally slink off to find other exciting activities.

PS: Malcross has just posted a fine set of pictures in the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art. That and The Sage are also in the Quayside area.

Taking into account excluded dates, is Saturday 4th October OK? If not we are into November.

Are you thinking through the day or the evening of the 4th Barrie?

I suppose we could start through the day and maybe those that wanted or were able to could carry on into the evening. Maybe it could be a rolling thing, with people turning up as and when.

I would like to do the evening - how about an afternoon meet in to the evening for those interested?

Don't know if I'll be able to get Barrie. Ive just accepted an invite to an a full day outing on the 5th. Don't want the boss thinking I'm taking a lend. I'll keep an eye on the thread though, and join if I can

Saturday October 4 seems fine by me. I may stay long enough to get some dusk shots before heading off.

Would switching the date to the 27th September accommodate more people. I know Carl and David Trout are able to switch dates.
