The most usual reason for this is forgetting to hit the button "Add Comment" - this is something many of us do at least once, you're just getting in there early!

I already wrote this post but for some reason it disappeared
It was a bit of a waffle but a quick summary of it was...
I started with a Pentax P30n about 20 years ago and took loads of pics but after working long hours and not having time/money for film etc (didn't have much confidence either) it took a back seat - my work is mostly in darkroom type work and as a (self taught) photo retoucher for photo libraries so I seem to skirt around photography... about time I started learning more so after updating from the K100D last year to a K7 I thought I'd join up and see if you lot can share tips and encouragement to improve my skills.
I even started using the manual settings rather than AV which I have to say does help things a lot!
