The K-5 is amazing value at the moment and will give you a big jump in various aspects of performance.

I second the K-5. ISO performance alone edges out the K7.

Congrats with the bike test. As above, the K5 would be the way to go. I still have and use my K10. I'm just not prepared to give up on CCD.
I would say it will be more than a big jump though.

After an exhausting and demanding 12 months dealing with a raft of family issues and finding the time to finally pass the UK bike test (the older you get, the more demanding it is!), I hope I can to resume where I left off and I am looking at a replacement for my trusty K10.
However, as I am really out of touch, K5 or K7? Which threads should I be looking at?
