Newbie saying thanks for the help.

Just want to say thanks again for the help with my earlier question. Am finding a ton of info here. I wonder if I may be so bold as to ask yet another question? Does anyone know of a good site for beginners or perhaps a book, I have scanned google and can't seem to come up with anything. Thanks in advance for the help, can't sem to figure out how to post my reply in the same window where you post my answers. Talk about a real Newbie.

Bobby, there's tons of good literature out there but I think the most overlooked document is the camera manual itself.
Once the owner has figured out the controls and how to insert the batteries etc. it often ends up consigned to a draw or the bottom of the kit bag.
The manufacturer wants you to get the most from his product and there's loads of hints and tips within the manual's pages - after years of use, I still frequently refer to mine!
