I have been commissioned to produce some images for a Doctors consulting room, three rooms in total

The theme is colour.

This is a big job for me as I have been permitted to put a water mark on the images this is big news for me simply because you are not aloud to advertise within the NHS

I have three rooms in total to do each room has to have a different theme

Now for the colour theme I have taken images of colouring pencils and coloured paper clips however I need to more examples of colour any Idea’s for two more I think as I’ve used man made objects the other subject’s need to carry on along those lines

The second room is music I have taken images of a clarinet and a violin one more instrument required for this set.

In the third room I’m going with nature I have a shoot of some trees in a meadow witch will be printed in black and white and be panoramic in size I would like to add three more images to sit below this main image square in size.

James, you'd be marked down if you were doing exams for not doing all the work yourself. Browse Flickr and rip off the best examples in your own style. No point in straining yourself for originality.
Lurking is shirking.!

There is plenty of inspiration to be found on the web. I'll quote a Dr Who producer who said, "We only ever use original ideas - other people's original ideas."

So a recommendation for having a good look around!
Best regards, John

thank you for the point in the right direction but I have been thinking about it and have sorted it out.

all I needed to do was sit down and write a plan up and the old originality juices started to flow the third image for the colour will be red and yellow oil based paint in black coffee shot through a flat vase

James, now that you've decided on what you're doing, can I offer a suggestion?

There's a direct and measurable health benefit on the human body from exposure to nature, even in the form of pictures, or views through the window. For a doctor's surgery, I would be inclined to utilise this effect and choose natural subjects, such as flowers, trees, landscapes, skies etc, giving you a whole range of colours to choose from, yet with a health benefit too.

Have a read of this journal, or at least the first page or two, and perhaps reconsider your subjects? If you can promote the health benefits of your photos, backed up with evidence, you may be able to get further commissions from other doctors...
