I wonder how the Ricoh acquisition will play out. Will future compacts after this be released as Ricoh or Pentax models?

My guess is Ricoh will continue to market their own products and run the Pentax brand as a subsidery company, although we may see Pentax DSLR siblings rebadged as Ricoh.

35mm-equivalent focal lengths range from 25mm to 450mm and maximum aperture varies from f/3.5 to f/5.9 across the zoom range.
