I've asked Pentax/Ricoh to clarify.. as its not on the claims form or terms and conditions table.

I think it needs to be on the claims form if they are offering it.

Vendors offering a K-5II body could get you the discount by selling you a K-5II kit with receipt, then removing and refunding the kit lens separately, I guess. Only the biggest Pentax dealers would be able to do this and you'd have to arrange it over the phone.
