We have had a few new arrivals over the last week. About fifty of them to be precise!

Best wishes, Kris.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

So if they are for sale, to go with the mint sauce, should this not be in the classifieds. And what's the price?

I don't think day old lambs have much meat on them. Ask again in a few months!

Lovely photo Kris. Not too many lambs here this year due to Q-fever .

My daughter-in-law (a vet student) is just back from 2 weeks lambing in Wales. At least now she gets paid for it. the first two years was compulsory and unpaid. they liked her so much they have asked her back twice since, and paid her to help.

A farmer friend actually would eat day old lamb - ones born live but which died soon after birth. I could never bring my self to try it.

Gareth - we watched a wildebeest give birth and the baby was up and running within 10 minutes. After 15 minutes it could outrun a hyena. That was amazing. 10 minutes old and on the move for the rest of it's days.

The light hasn't helped much, but cute lamb and good focus. I can see why you went for the square crop but I wonder if landscape with more space to the right might also work.
