Do you know how to get to the hue/saturation menu? This would be easier if the background was plain. You could always use the dodge tool on just the red rose. Actually there are so many ways of going about this that I'm not sure which one to recommend.

Hue/Saturation will work, also replace color in the image/adjustments menu and click on the result square and choose a color will also do the trick.

Use the magnetic lasso tool (or one of the other select tools) to select the rose petals.
Right click and select "layer as copy".
Use the hue saturation menu to get the pink shade you want.... then combine the layers.
You might want to make sure the feather option is at its lowest setting before you "layer as copy"
This way the background will be unaffected by the hue/saturation change.
