MZ5n: Cleaning behind focus screen

Hi Folks

My MZ 5n has a lot of junk in the viewfinder. is it possible to pop the focus screen and give it a clean with a blow brush or do do I have to put it in for a service.

If you did manage to do this and the replacement was even a fraction out, you would focus incorrectly ever afterwards, so it's not a good idea. Dirt in the viewfinder system will not affect the image on the film, but you could send the camera for professional cleaning if you wished.

I'd live with it if I could!

Thanks for the reply John. I know it wont affect the image, its just that there appears to quite a lot of debris in there. I'm going to arrange a professional service for this body.
