I know, how do I do this and what can you do if someone steals your image’s?Some people do not respect copyright notices so watermark all of your images,

If you can, disable the right click option when an image is displayed, it removes the "Save image as" option and makes it more difficult for your images to be downloaded and used without your permission.
Again, how do I do this? This is most worrying me now.If you can, disable the right click option when an image is displayed, it removes the "Save image as" option and makes it more difficult for your images to be downloaded and used without your permission.

Print them and display them in physical galleries. But then of course people can still steal them as they can take a picture of the picture To be 100% sure of them not being stolen do not show them to anyone.Quote:

That is good advice, but how would I display my work?If you're worried about people stealing your images don't put them on the Net.

If you look at the HTML it's in a div with id="header". Move this div to the bottom ( change it's name to footer or something similar )Quote:
The social media buttons and "Copyright Louise Topp © 2014" should be the footer
Apparently I have to upgrade to do this, but if anyone knows a way around it, then please tell me.The social media buttons and "Copyright Louise Topp © 2014" should be the footer

It depends on how diverse your photography is. The homepage is where most of the judgement is made. This is where you need to sell yourself and your images to entice visitors to look around the rest of the site

Changed to something else. I cant get rid of the square unless I completely change the design, and I’ll have to replace the header pictures.every page has this huge bar with a page wide image of out of focus lights and some other image displayed over it - it's way too big and annoying while the important part of the page, the content is shoved off screen underneath. I'd lose the "Welcome to my photography site, please feel free to have a browse:" and instead replace it with a brief introduction about yourself
I've done that in the about page, but I'll see what I can do.I'd lose the "Welcome to my photography site, please feel free to have a browse:" and instead replace it with a brief introduction about yourself

Much nicer layout Louise. I like it, it's friendly, uncluttered and colourful without being over the top.
It's probably not possible with the free version but the main image/s would be nice as a slideshow.
I know the copyright is usually at the bottom but I think it works as you've done it, anyway....rules are made to be broken
Much better than the first effort.
By the way.....My web gallery went through about twenty changes before I was happy

Website making is pretty daunting for anyone with no experience so you can give yourself a nice pat on the back, well done!!!
The thing though about websites is that there are generally always improvements that you can make and the work is never really finished.
In fact it's usually the content that's the biggest challenge rather than the nuts and bolts. Well done!!

Had a word with Pentax at a camera fair in Magna Road at the Hamworthy club near Bournemouth, and learnt many things about my K30 I never knew about.
I also saw them doing glass plates with silver in which was very interesting. I'd forgotten how smelly the stop, fix and developer was

Some people do not respect copyright notices so watermark all of your images,
If you can, disable the right click option when an image is displayed, it removes the "Save image as" option and makes it more difficult for your images to be downloaded and used without your permission.
