Haven't not shot anything in a while I decided just to get out and shoot something so the local beach it was then. It was a good time to try out my new DFA 24-70mm as well as a new filter.

Seeing a few YouTubers using a dark CPL filter so I did a bit of research and found that Rollei made one that's significantly cheaper than the other brands so I ordered one off eBay as they seem to be discontinued now. They came in various strengths but the one I bought was a 10 stop ND C-PL. The Rollei filters are pretty neutral, this is a shot I took and have done nothing to it in LR other than hit the export key:

Very nice Gareth... particularly like the exposure blended first one... nice mood to it... agree re Rollei filters... went that way for the 150mm you need on the 15-30... managed to find a couple in a sale... as you say, as colour neutral as I've found in an nd filter so far... good luck with it, and the DFA 24-70...

Great light on the first one, I love the way you can get arresting images from this location.

I suppose if you keep visiting the same location on repeat like I do here then you get to know the area intimately and that kind of helps getting the best of the location. Seascapes are good as you can visit the same area on repeat and beaches like this with pebbles on will keep being different So basically I'm a cheat

Keep on cheating then if it results in images like those. The first one is a stunner.
