my belated hello

hi everyone - long time lurker and only recent member of this fine forum here. have enjoyed digital photography ever since my first 1.5MP Fuji over a decade ago, and via a series of increasingly better compacts, then to a pretty decent bridge camera, I arrived at my first DSLR last year - a Samsung GX-20 (aka Pentax K20D, give-or-take!) unfortunately this had a sensor problem and I fell fowl of Samsung's apparently notorious aftersales (lack of) service, and have been pining to have a decent camera again (Samsung had it for months before admitting they couldn't repair or replace it). all of which brings me to today, eagerly awaiting delivery of a new KX. apologies for such a long-winded hello, but nice to "meet" you all anyway! G'day and welcome - nice camera, the Kx. It will do everything the K20 / GX20 did, but without the weatherproofing, second e-dial and top screen. In some other ways it is arguably more advanced.
