Murmuration

Ive been a member here for quite some time but have never got round to posting photos in this section of the forum.
I love nature photography and try to have the camera with me at all times.

Heres a shot of a "murmuration" of starlings taken about two weeks ago in Co Down Northern Ireland.

I used 1/6 sec F11 ISO 400

Pentax K-x DA18 55 kit lens

Nice, Carrot. Where was that? I had a couple of hundred gather in the locale last Sat, most odd.

Thats a really nice shot. I love the feeling of movement across the sky.

I never knew the term was murmuration, it makes for a very striking image Alistair, the soft pinkis, mauvish tones are wonderful

Nice shot

This is something I have been meaning to photograph but have never got around to - probably wouldn't do as good a job though
